The Map Room

I was asked to do a cake for a friend's birthday. My husband suggested I make a Map Room cake which is where Ray, the birthday boy, met his wife. They were recently married so I thought this was a great idea for a cake.
It was a chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. The Map Room logo and trees were made with fondant.

Scooby-Doo where are you??

I got a request this week to make a "mystery machine" for a birthday party. I decided to add the bottom layer to add interest and feed more people. House, Scooby-Doo, and Shaggy are made of gum paste, then hand painted.

Ballet Dancer Cake

This birthday cake was made for a ballet dancer. Simple two tiered cake with gumpaste tutu and ballet shoes.

Cookies for Emerson

These are sugar cookies made for a friend who just had a baby girl recently. The inspiration was obviously from the baby announcement.
