A little boy and girl were having a duel birthday party. He wanted Batman cupcakes and she wanted tiara cupcakes.

Lily's Birthday

My daughter turned 6 this year. We decided to have a red and pink dessert party and enjoy a huge sugar rush. It worked. I made cake pops, chocolate/raspberry tarts, lemon tarts, meringue cookies, caramels, french macarons, cupcakes, almond nougat, marshmallows, sugar cookies, and Lily's pink birthday cake. Dr. Seuss - Cat in the Hat Cake

This is a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. I wanted the top to look like the book and each side to represent the story. Pick up is tomorrow so I have to add a fish to one of the sides of the cake.

 

 

 

 

 

 

100th Day Cookies

It's 100th day at my daughter's school. She brought in these treats to share with the class.

Election Night Cake

My mother ran for McLean County Clerk in Illinois and won!! She spent a lot of time driving around town hauling a giant elephant and knocked on over 5,000 doors. This celebration cake represents her efforts.
