Luau Birthday Party - 40 never looked so good!

Happy Birthday to my dear friend D'Joane. Her husband went all out for the decorations for this luau themed party. A good time was had by all.

I made the cake to go along with the theme. It was a white cake with strawberry filling.

Farmers Market

What a beautiful day for my first farmers market. I'll be at the Western Springs market for at least the next 3 Thursdays. Come
 on by! The market is from 2 until 7pm.

Baby Shower Cake & Cookies

I tried to match this cake with the invitation. The woman who is having the baby is also a yoga teacher and wanted yoga cookies. Apparently, the lotus flower is a yoga symbol.

The cake itself is white and lemon cake with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream fillings. Yummy!!

Golf Cake

This is a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. My husband was the landscape designer on this one since I don't golf much.
