Chicago Bulls Cookies

Lauri from LaGrange Patch requested Chicago Bulls cookies for her son. Even though I knew how to get the shape I needed, I'm always reluctant to make red royal icing. If you add too much red, you get a bitter taste so it's always a challenge to add just enough. I usually end up with pink. Anyway, I think they turned out as I expected.

Lego Batman Cake

Ok, this cake was an attempt to make a smaller version of Confetti Cakes Lego Batman cake. It was made for my husbands birthday. He and my son play Lego Batman all the time so, I thought it was appropriate that he have a Batman cake. That's "Super Dad" on the top :)

Winter cake - part II

Another winter birthday. Lily's winter "one"derland cake. Her mother wanted a pink velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. I tried a new recipe and ended up with more of a mauve velvet cake but I colored the frosting pink. So, once you cut into the cake, I think it ended up being very pinkish :).

Bee cake

I got a request for a round red velvet cake with bees on it. I couldn't resist changing the shape to a beehive. So cute!
